Whispers
At Cerim Whispers, you can rest and replenish your health.

Whispers or Cerum Whispers in No Rest For The Wicked act as Checkpoints found in various locations in the game. These are special landmarks that show a blue glow that allows players to rest to replenish their health and stamina. Before activating a Whisper, it will glow with faint light streaks, and once it's activated, the light will become stronger and brighter. A Cerim Whisper also serves as a checkpoint where the player will respawn upon death.

If death should find you, you will be spoken anew at the last Whisper you visited.

Cerim Whisper Effects In No Rest for the Wicked

Press the (Y) button to activate the Cerim Whisper. Using an active Whisper grants the following effects:

• The Whisper in Sacrament is used as the main whisper for fast traveling. Players can fast travel to Sacrament at any whisper and can only teleport to the last whisper used outside of Sacrament when exploring outside of the hub.
• Functions as a checkpoint where the Cerim can return to upon death (NOTE: When the Cerim dies, their items will incur a durability loss)

Activating a Whisper will not cause nearby enemies to respawn. Instead, enemies will spawn at a varying period after you have journeyed in the same area. A different type of enemy can spawn the next time you go through the same location which presents new danger to tackle and new resources to be gathered. 

• The durability loss for items is 5 per instance.

Cerim Whisper Menu Options in No Rest for the Wicked

By activating and using a Cerim Whisper, players can choose the following actions from the Whisper's Menu Option:

• Activating the Sacrament Whisper unlocks the Fast Travel feature.
