In No Rest For The Wicked, Armor is divided into 4 categories which are, Helms, Chest Armor, Gauntlets, and Leg Armor. Armor can be obtained by looting enemy or boss drops, opening chests that are scattered throughout the game, purchasing them from various Merchants, or by crafting. Players can wear the complete set or mix and match if they choose to customize it to their liking.

In No Rest For The Wicked, Armor comes in 4 different rarities: Common, Rare, Cursed, and Unique. Common armors are represented with a white background, they are not considered as trash loot like in other ARPGs, but rather the most customizable among all other rarities. Rare armors are represented with a blue background and they offer only positive bonuses, which help players grow stronger as they progress through the game.

Cursed armors are represented with a purple background, these are quite different from the rest as they do offer better enchantments and bonuses than common and rare armors, but they also come with a negative effect. Players will have to decide whether the bonuses are worth it even if it comes at a cost. Unique armors are represented with a gold background, these are the most powerful armor rarity that are specifically handcrafted by the game designers and offer unique enchantments and bonuses.
